how do i check the status of my credit. i just applied about a week ago, can you tell what it will arrive
Answer:
When you apply online for a credit card, it usually takes 7 to 10 business days to be approved. If you want to know the status of your credit card, please, contact the bank you deal with. We have no access to your personal information and status of your application, so we can't help you anyhow. The credit card is sent to you during 30 business days.

Waht is the chance of getting approve for balance transfer from american express? Since i have a past due already and representative from amex told me that the only otion is balance transfer.
Answer:
I think, you should have good credit score for that and no past delinquencies. You can look through the terms and conditions of American Express credit cards and estimate your chances. If you can ask for advice in the American Express customer service, it is great, as only they can give a really valuable piece of advice concerning their credit cards.

Hi,

My fiance has never had any credit and he is 36. We want to purchase a home an he needs to build up his credit. He makes a pretty decent salary (60,000 per year) and so do I. Is it important for both of us to have credit or will we still be able to purchase a home without too much hassle?
Answer:
At least one of you has to have credit, otherwise you won't be given such a large amount in credit. You can turn to some credit union or take some special kind of loan, and even if you will manage to be approved for such a significant amount, terms&conditions of this credit will be far from beneficial. It is very important to build credit, which is not quick and easy. So try to build as high a credit score as you can, maybe you can wait a little to buy a house later.

Do you know of any cards that accept a co-signer? I want to help out a 19 yr old. Thanks Gary Cleveland OH
Answer:
If you have good credit, you can apply for any good credit card and after you will be approved, sign up the person you want as a co-borrower. But you should be aware that you both are equally responsible for the credit, especially you as a co-signer, since if the co-borrower refuses to pay, you'll have to do it. After you apply for credit cards with so-signer, you get the correspoding record in your credit report and the co-borrower increases his or her credit score.

i want to bill my credit history up .
Answer:
To increase your credit score, you should follow several rules: apply for credit cards for which you are eligible, avoid cancelling cards before expiration date, always pay in full and on time and have several credit cards at a time. Thus, you'll be able to accumulate enough points to significantly improve your credit.
